"We can't thank the Washington family enough for our puppy Morgan. We did a TON of research on breeders prior to getting Morgan, because we wanted to find the best breeder possible. We couldn't be happier with our choice to go with the Washington family and their Colorado Aspen Labs. The Washington family was wonderful to answer any and all of our questions about the puppies and gave us great updates and pictures from the time Morgan was born to the time we picked her up. Morgan had the best start possible, because she was given a lot of love and attention. As soon as we brought her home, she already knew her name and had been called, "Morgan" since four weeks old, which was when we "picked her out." Morgan was already potty trained at 7.5 weeks when we brought her home and knew to go outside, which was amazing! We couldn't be happier with our adorable, sharp as a tack little girl. We would highly recommend Colorado Aspen Labs to anyone wanting a great furry best friend and companion."

Morgan ** 12 Weeks Old
She is just as cute as can be and is learning a ton. She walks great on her leash, sprints to you when you call her, sits, shakes and we are attempting to teach "lay down" but not having a ton of success!! We just thought you might want to see her being as silly as ever.

We thought you might like to know that Morgan is doing well! She is growing right on up and is definitely very full of personality. She is one of the most loving dogs I have ever known/met and I believe she thinks she is a lap dog and she can't seem to get close enough to you to snuggle in. We are really enjoying her and wanted to let you know that :)

Colorado Aspen Labs, the Washington Family, are amazing! The love, affection and attention they give their own Labs and the puppies are evident on your first visit to their Ranch! Our puppy, Yogi, is a sweet, well adjusted puppy and a beautiful and healthy chocolate Lab. When we took him the to Vet for his first check up and I showed the Vet the paperwork the Washington’s had provided they were amazed and very impressed with the details they provided, like how the Mom did after delivery, how many puppies she had, when they first opened their eyes, etc. The Vet said she had never seen anything like it! We have friends that are planning in the future to get a Lab, and they are looking forward to purchasing their puppy from the Washington Family!
Take care, and we will keep sending pictures so you can watch Yogi grow!!!

I have wanted to find me a Chocolate Lab for a very long time; eight years to be precise. I would start looking at different breeders and their sites or ads; and something just never felt quite right. So, as a consequence, I never found my perfect pet companion. Well, I started looking again at the beginning of this year; and I found Scott and Kandi and coloradoaspenlabs.com; and I knew that somehow, something was telling me that they were the breeders that I was looking for all along. They started with a reply to my inquiry; one that let me know who they were and what they stood for. They kept in close contact with me, letting me know of any changes, and they always let me know how the puppies; and my puppy in particular, were/was doing. When it was time for me to get my puppy, they made sure I knew the process and what to expect at the airport. And, they made sure I knew everything about my puppy, from vaccination, to temperament, to what type of food she was eating. When she arrived, she was everything that they promised and more. She is bright, cheerful, lovable, trainable, and very much a Chocolate Lab of great distinction. Thank you Scott and Kandi; From Regan and Danilo. She is worth all of the waiting, money, and time spent. Worth so much more. My puppy is Isabella, "Izzy."

UPDATE OF IZZY....
Izzy had a wonderful Christmas; we had lots of snow after two big storms and she absolutely loves the snow. She is so big and strong and really loves to play fetch and tug of war like her Dad.
So far, we have taught her sit, stay, heel, lay down, hi five (with either paw), and she has been fully housebroken for months. Now, when she needs to go to the bathroom; she goes to the back door and sits and gives one loud bark.
She is a very well adjusted puppy, and she does really well staying at home alone while we work and leave to handle business. She only tears up things that we give her (her possessions).

It has been a while since we contacted you; but we are doing well. I wanted to send you some current pictures of Izzy. We sometimes go back to your website to look at pictures and updates. I tell Izzy all the time that she likes to play tug-of-war so much because her daddy liked to do it!
Izzy has so many facets and she is the most intelligent animal that I have ever met! She loves to sleep with her blanket; and she even helped house-train Jackson. One final note, we have taught her to hide her eyes and I count to 10 while Danny hides....once I reach 10, she gets up and goes to find him; which she does every time!
Here is a wonderful update on our family. We have been good friends with a single parent family with two kids for about two years. The mother works with Danny. They purchased a yellow lab from a Washington breeder last March; but their home was lost in a fire, and one of the children and the mother was severely injured. Well, they asked us to take the yellow lab puppy, because they could not take care of him properly; and they could not see him going to a shelter. I did mention that the breeder would probably take the puppy back in this circumstance; but we kept him while we were trying to contact the breeder. Well, after about one week; Izzy and the little puppy were INSEPARABLE!!
All our Love!

Brodie is a pistol and he is already 31 pounds as of last week. He is going to be HUGE and he is just gorgeous. The vet can't exclaim enough about how good looking he is. Brodie is just gorgeous and we are so happy with our choice to go with the Washington Family's Colorado Aspen Labs. They breed beautiful dogs that are loved from day one with tender loving care. He is smart, loving, and a great dog for my son Connor who picked him out or should I say Brodie picked Connor out. We couldn't be happier and Brodie is having an active good time playing with our Aussie. They are buds. It is fun to see him get excited when it is time to go and greet the bus too. He knows Connor is coming and the way they greet one another is precious. Thanks so much Washington Family!

Thank yo so much for all of the hard work, time, and love that you put in to raising your pups! Bailey is such an amazing puppy, and we love her to pieces! She was so easy to train (potty-trained at 7.5 weeks!), and is so healthy! The vet was amazed by her and all of your records! This is our first dog, and it has been such a wonderful experience! It is truly obvious that you care about raising great quality family puppies, not just making money. We would highly recommend you to any potential lab lovers! Who knows... maybe down the road, we'll get a friend from you for our beautiful Bailey girl!
Thank you again!

Hi Scott and Kandi:
We wanted to send you an update on Jimmy. We cannot tell you what a wonderful family friend Jimmy has been. He is such a laid back fellow and is just as you described. You had his personality pegged from the beginning. He is a little sneak. He takes things from where ever he can get them and tries to run outside with them. It doesn’t go over so well with the kids, but he always brings them back when he is told. :>) We love him so much that we have decided to buy another baby from Maya’s litter. We could not be happier with your Colorado Aspen Labs, we truly love Jimmy.
Attached please find some pics....enjoy!!
Thanks so much!

Washington family,
I wanted to thank you for the great dog and perfectly easy and enjoyable experience of doing business with you. Zeke is doing wonderfully and growing up fast. At 8 months, he is 67 pounds and still looks lean. The kids enjoyed the trip to select Zeke when he was just a few weeks old, and now he interacts exceptionally with them. He is pure retriever, as he will retrieve anything thrown on the ground; and with our 4 kids just about everything gets thrown on the ground at one time or another, including the kids themselves. He’d probably retrieve the kids, too, if he could manage to pick them up. Attached are a few photos, as you can see, he loves the snow.
Hope you are doing well.
Thanks,
The Crawfords
